Well struck and unusually attractive

ASIA MINOR. Uncertain. Diassarion (Bronze, 28 mm, 18.27 g, 11 h), 1st century BC. Bare head of a Roman quaestor to right. Rev. Fiscus, sella quaestoria and hasta; below, Q. RPC I 5409. Well struck and unusually attractive. Light marks on the reverse, otherwise, very fine.

This issue has been attributed to Brutus, Octavian and Gaius Sosius in the past. It may well, however, be of a somewhat earlier date.
